Priority wins silver for creative social media campaign supporting craftsmanship

Prestigious design competition Svenska Designpriset annually rewards a few selected design and communication concepts within categories such as Identity, Editorial, Digital. This year, Priority was awarded silver in the new established category Social Media for our work for Hantverksakademin.

The campaign, aiming to attract more people to craft professions and promote sustainable consumption, resulted in a significant boost of conversions. Within a year it doubled the number of applicants for the educations of Hantverksakademin.

– Our aim was to create a modern and expressive concept that stood out, while still being easy to grasp. With this campaign, we wanted to change an outdated image of craftmanship and highlight the importance of Sweden’s 400 craft professions for a circular economy using a sense of humor, says Linnea Anckers, Senior Designer at Priority and creator of the concept.
