Fraud is a major problem in Sweden, and older people are often particularly vulnerable. The national campaign “Svårlurad!” is developed by Priority on behalf of the Swedish Bankers’ Association and the Swedish Banks. The campaign aims to spread awareness of how to protect yourself and your relatives against fraud.
– With “Svårlurad!” more people will feel confident in how to act if a scammer calls. As a strategic and operational agency partner, we’ve assisted 26 commercial banks in a unique collaboration from campaign idea to today’s national launch, says Alva Ohlsson, Project Manager & VP of Priority.
The campaign will be launched during week eight and will be visible on TV, in 64 newspapers throughout Sweden, in digital ads and social channels. There is also an information page, svårlurad.se, with practical advice and tips on how to become scam aware in order to combat fraud.
– The banks of Sweden work extremely hard to protect their customers against fraud. But this type of crime is a growing societal problem and “Svårlurad!” will play an important role as a source of information and advice to those who are most vulnerable,” says Angelica Stebrant, CEO of Priority.
The campaign launches today, February 21, and will run for six weeks.
