The jury of Svenska Designpriset presents their 2019 finalists, nominating three design projects signed by Priority in the categories Identity & Visual Communication.
The prestigious design competition annually rewards a few selected design and communication concepts within seven different categories, such as Identity, Editorial, Digital, and more. This year, Priority is three times nominated for their designs.
The agency receives two nominations for design concepts created in partnership with Grand Group; for the visual identity of their new boutique hotel The Sparrow, and for the playful menu based on the game MixMax created for the Cadier Bar at Grand Hôtel.
In the same category, Priority is also nominated for their new packaging design for Änglamark – which is part of renewing the brand to attract a younger target group.
”It is really exciting to have our design recognized in such a wide array of applications. The three nominations highlight our mix of competences which we have successfully built up over the years here at Priority. All nominated projects are the result of longer partnerships and combined with our close contact with our clients it allows us to be creative and build something unique together,” says Jan Vana, Creative Director at Priority.
“We are grateful to see the designs at two of our hotels noticed by some of Sweden’s most prominent designers and brand strategists. We really enjoy working with Priority and this is just another indication that our collaborations create inspiring, extraordinary hotel experiences,” says Pia Djupmark, CEO at Grand Group.
“The launch of the new Änglamark has been a success for Coop and we are clearly heading forward. The mission for Priority was to modernize and update a national treasure that had lost its power. We wanted to develop the identity to meet the requirements for the future and, above all, reach millennials. We are very pleased with the collaboration with Priority and are now well equipped to face the competition from both stores and online,” says Björn Larsson, Group Marketing Director at Coop Sweden.
